1. Introduction
KANAPURO ("KANAPURO," "we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy.
This Privacy Policy explains how KANAPURO collects, uses, stores, shares, and protects personal information when you access or use the Platform, purchase Products or Services, create an Account, communicate with us, or otherwise interact with KANAPURO.
This Privacy Policy forms part of the Terms of Service and should be read together with any additional privacy notices or policies that may apply to specific Services.
2. Scope
This Privacy Policy applies to all websites, applications, marketplaces, software, community features, digital products, physical products, online services, and other platforms owned or operated by KANAPURO.
Certain Products or Services may provide additional privacy notices where different or supplemental data practices apply.
If a conflict exists between this Privacy Policy and a service-specific privacy notice, the service-specific notice governs only with respect to that Service.
3. Key Terms
For purposes of this Privacy Policy:
- Personal Information means information that identifies, relates to, describes, or can reasonably be associated with an identifiable individual.
- Processing means collecting, using, storing, sharing, deleting, or otherwise handling Personal Information.
- Platform has the meaning given in the Terms of Service.
- User means any individual who accesses or uses the Platform.
Other capitalized terms have the meanings given in the Terms of Service unless otherwise stated.
4. Information We Collect
The information KANAPURO collects depends on how you interact with the Platform.
KANAPURO may collect information from three primary sources:
- information you provide directly;
- information collected automatically through your use of the Platform; and
- information received from third-party service providers.
At present, the public site is primarily informational and gallery-based. It does not currently provide on-site user accounts, login sessions, contact forms, comment systems, newsletter signup forms, or file-upload workflows unless a specific service page states otherwise.
Because those features are not currently present on the public site, KANAPURO does not currently use on-site CAPTCHA or spam-prevention systems for public-facing forms.
5. Information You Provide
You may provide information directly to KANAPURO when interacting with the Platform.
Depending on the Services you use, this information may include:
- name;
- username or display name;
- email address;
- billing and shipping information;
- payment-related information processed through authorized payment providers;
- profile information;
- communications with KANAPURO;
- commission requests;
- uploaded files;
- User Content;
- survey responses;
- feedback;
- support requests; and
- other information you voluntarily provide.
You are responsible for ensuring that information you provide is accurate and current.
Where you submit information relating to another individual, you represent that you have the necessary authority to provide that information.
6. Information Collected Automatically
When you access or use the Platform, certain information may be collected automatically through your browser, device, or interaction with the Services.
This information may include:
- IP address;
- approximate geographic location derived from IP address;
- browser type and version;
- operating system;
- device type;
- language preferences;
- referring website;
- pages visited;
- search terms;
- interaction data;
- access times;
- crash reports;
- diagnostic information;
- cookie identifiers; and
- similar technical information.
This information is used to operate, maintain, improve, secure, troubleshoot, and analyze the Platform.
KANAPURO also uses local storage in the browser to remember the site's light/dark theme preference. The site does not currently use first-party account cookies or session cookies because it does not provide on-site account login functionality.
Because the site is hosted and delivered through Cloudflare, Cloudflare may process request metadata such as IP address, user-agent string, timestamps, requested URLs, and similar operational logs for delivery, security, troubleshooting, and abuse prevention.
KANAPURO does not currently maintain separate application-level server logs for the public site beyond the hosting and delivery logs needed to run the service.
7. Information Received from Third Parties
KANAPURO may receive information from third-party service providers when necessary to provide Products or Services.
Examples may include:
- Cloudflare, for hosting, delivery, caching, and security-related request handling;
- payment confirmations from payment processors;
- shipping updates from delivery providers;
- authentication information from sign-in providers;
- analytics data from analytics services;
- fraud prevention information; and
- information provided by marketplace partners or business partners where applicable.
KANAPURO does not control the privacy practices of third-party services. Your interactions with those services remain subject to their own privacy policies.
The public site also includes or links to third-party services and embeds, including Google Fonts, Tabler Icons CDN, a visitor counter widget, a guestbook widget, and a web-ring widget. When these services load, they may receive their own requests, cookies, logs, or similar data under their own policies. The planned shop address is shop.kanapuro.com; its storefront is not yet set up. Links to PayPal support pages send you to PayPal as a separate external service. External links to services such as Google Drive, YouTube, Discord, Twitch, Instagram, X, GitHub, ArtFight, Roblox, SpaceHey, and Substack are separate third-party services and are governed by those providers' own privacy terms.

- performance of a contract;
- compliance with legal obligations;
- legitimate business interests;
- protection of vital interests;
- public interest where applicable; or
- consent, where consent is required.
Where Processing is based on consent, you may withdraw that consent at any time, subject to applicable law.
Withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of Processing that occurred before consent was withdrawn.
10. Sharing Information
KANAPURO does not sell Personal Information in exchange for money.
KANAPURO may share Personal Information where reasonably necessary, including with:
- Cloudflare and other hosting or delivery providers;

Service providers receive only the information reasonably necessary to perform their functions.
KANAPURO does not authorize service providers to use Personal Information for their own independent marketing purposes.
KANAPURO provides an on-site account portal and browser editing. Its planned storefront is not yet set up; shop checkout, membership, delivery, and order-support workflows are not currently offered through that storefront.
11. Business Transfers
If KANAPURO is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, sale of assets, or similar business transaction, Personal Information may be transferred as part of that transaction.
Any such transfer remains subject to this Privacy Policy unless a different notice is provided where required by law.
12. Cookies and Similar Technologies
KANAPURO may use cookies, pixels, local storage, web beacons, and similar technologies ("Cookies") to operate, secure, personalize, and improve the Platform.
At present, the site uses browser local storage to remember your light/dark theme preference. Third-party widgets and embedded services may also use their own Cookies or similar technologies when their content loads.
Cookies may be used for purposes including:
- remembering user preferences;
- maintaining site preferences or other session state where applicable;
- improving Platform functionality;
- measuring Platform performance;
- analyzing usage trends;
- detecting fraud or abuse; and
- supporting security features.
Some third-party services integrated with the Platform may also use Cookies in accordance with their own privacy policies.
KANAPURO does not currently use first-party advertising cookies, marketing pixels, or first-party analytics cookies on the public site.
You may configure your browser or device to reject or delete certain Cookies. Doing so may affect the availability or functionality of portions of the Platform.
Where required by applicable law, KANAPURO will obtain consent before using non-essential Cookies.
Additional information regarding Cookies may be provided in a separate Cookie Policy.
13. Do Not Track
Some browsers provide "Do Not Track" signals.
Because there is not a consistent industry standard for how websites should respond to these signals, the Platform may not respond to Do Not Track signals unless required by applicable law.
14. Data Retention
KANAPURO retains Personal Information only for as long as reasonably necessary to:
- provide the Platform;
- fulfill Products and Services;
- maintain business records;
- resolve disputes;
- enforce legal agreements;
- comply with legal obligations; or
- protect the security and integrity of the Platform.
Retention periods vary depending on the type of information, the purpose for which it was collected, and applicable legal requirements.
When Personal Information is no longer required, KANAPURO will take reasonable steps to securely delete, anonymize, or otherwise dispose of it unless continued retention is required or permitted by law.
Logs or records retained by Cloudflare or other third-party providers are governed by those providers' own retention practices and policies.
15. Your Privacy Rights
Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have rights regarding your Personal Information.
These rights may include the ability to:
- request access to Personal Information;
- request correction of inaccurate information;
- request deletion of Personal Information;
- request restriction of certain Processing activities;
- object to certain Processing activities;
- withdraw consent where Processing is based on consent;
- request a copy of information in a portable format where applicable; and
- submit a complaint to an applicable supervisory authority.
Not every right applies in every jurisdiction, and certain requests may be limited or denied where permitted by law.
KANAPURO may request reasonable information necessary to verify your identity before responding to a privacy request.
16. Children's Privacy
The Platform is not intentionally directed toward children under the age required by applicable privacy law to provide independent consent.
KANAPURO does not knowingly collect Personal Information from children where prohibited by applicable law.
If KANAPURO becomes aware that Personal Information has been collected from a child in violation of applicable law, reasonable steps will be taken to delete that information as soon as practicable.
Parents or legal guardians who believe that a child has provided Personal Information may contact KANAPURO using the contact information provided in this Privacy Policy.
17. International Data Transfers
KANAPURO operates from the United States.
If you access the Platform from another country, your information may be transferred to, processed in, or stored in jurisdictions whose data protection laws may differ from those of your own country.
Where required by applicable law, KANAPURO will implement reasonable safeguards designed to protect Personal Information transferred internationally.
18. Security
KANAPURO implements reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect Personal Information against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction.
However, no method of electronic transmission, cloud storage, or digital security can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
Accordingly, KANAPURO cannot guarantee the absolute security of information transmitted to or stored by the Platform.
Because the public site does not currently provide on-site account logins, there are no site-managed account credentials for Users to maintain. Users should still take normal precautions when interacting with third-party services reached through the Platform.
19. Security Incidents
If KANAPURO becomes aware of a security incident affecting Personal Information, KANAPURO will take reasonable steps to investigate, respond, and provide notifications where required by applicable law.
20. Changes to this Privacy Policy
KANAPURO may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in legal requirements, technology, business operations, or Platform functionality.
When material changes are made, KANAPURO will revise the "Last Updated" date at the beginning of this Privacy Policy and may provide additional notice where appropriate.
Your continued use of the Platform following the effective date of the revised Privacy Policy constitutes acknowledgment of the updated Privacy Policy to the extent permitted by applicable law.
21. Third-Party Provider List
KANAPURO should review the actual website implementation before publishing a finalized provider list.
KANAPURO may publish or update a list of important third-party service providers used to operate the Platform, such as hosting providers, payment processors, analytics providers, email providers, shipping providers, spam-prevention tools, and authentication services.
The provider list may be updated separately from this Privacy Policy where the underlying privacy practices remain materially consistent with this Policy.
As of the Last Updated date above, the public site makes use of or links to third-party services including Cloudflare, Google Fonts, Tabler Icons CDN, Counter12, Bravenet guestbook services, OnionRing web-ring services, PayPal, Google Drive, YouTube, Discord, Twitch, Instagram, X, GitHub, ArtFight, Roblox, SpaceHey, and Substack. This list may change as the site changes.
22. Implementation Review
This Privacy Policy is intended to describe KANAPURO's privacy practices at a general level.
Before the Platform begins collecting Personal Information through accounts, payments, comments, analytics, contact forms, newsletters, advertising, or similar features, KANAPURO should review the actual website implementation and third-party services in use.
If the Platform's technical setup changes, this Privacy Policy should be updated to reflect material changes in collection, use, sharing, cookies, analytics, payment processing, email services, or other data practices.
